Navajo Mountain Over 10,000 feet

Navajo mountain is usually in view from most of the lake. It is a remainder that this can be a cold place with snow and freezing rain in the winter and early spring.

I planned on going all the way back to Wahweap Marina in one day. The weather was perfect as you can see from most of these pictures.

I traveled 101 miles by GPS from Bullfrog Marina to Wahweap Marina. The weather was so nice the last day that I spent one more night aboard Sacagawea. That night was very clear and you could see not just stars but millions of stars.

I think spring is especially nice on Lake Powell. I enjoyed the solitude of the lake.

Early the next morning I pulled the boat out of the water and headed to Page to visit the Powell Museum.
